We’re born into a world that urges us not to think for ourselves. We exit the river that connects us with others via the life force and are encouraged to get lost in a selfish journey of material illusion and desire.

We all fall and we all have the ability to rise and learn through our experiences. Chilo and Mane Event have created this album not so much as a way to tell you right from wrong, but to display their humanity in Hip Hop form. In this album you will listen to two men reflecting on past experiences of joy, loss, regret, and wisdom and creating new thoughts and realities of empowerment, peace, hope, accountability and ingenuity.
